This site is run by an individual, not a company. Please reach us at the email address on the contact page.

Our purpose

We do not want the world to forget any zoo, aquarium, or individual animal that lived there. We keep names, homes, and known moves in a form that people can trace over time.

Editorial policy

We respect information published by facilities and do not fill gaps with speculation. When a facility representative or another informed person reports an error or omission, we review the record.

Data policy

  • Every factual field includes a URL to an official source. We do not publish values without a source.
  • If an animal’s residence cannot be confirmed for more than 90 days, we label it as awaiting confirmation and do not say that visitors can meet the animal.
  • When an animal dies, we do not delete its page; we preserve it as a memorial record.
