Marine Bio Center Aquarium福山大学マリンバイオセンター水族館

An aquarium that Fukuyama University's Research Institute of Marine Bioresources has opened to the public free of charge since July 1989 (Heisei 1); renovated in May 2009 (Heisei 21). With the concept of helping visitors get to know the creatures of the Seto Inland Sea, it exhibits in about 20 tanks centered on a 150-ton large tank. Representative exhibits are Seto Inland Sea fish such as red sea bream, Asian sheepshead wrasse, and striped beakfish.
