Hiwasa Sea Turtle Museum "Caretta"日和佐うみがめ博物館カレッタ

A specialized museum devoted to the protection, research, and education of sea turtles. It observes and records loggerhead turtles coming ashore and nesting on Ohama Beach using fixed cameras and other means, and inside offers hands-on exhibits with live sea turtles, including a resident turtle named "Yurie." It also accepts support through a Sea Turtle Supporter program and crowdfunding.
