Takachihokyoutansuigyo Suizokukan高千穂峡淡水魚水族館

A freshwater aquarium that uses spring water from Tamadare Falls in Takachiho Gorge. It exhibits about 80 species, centered on freshwater fish of the Gokase River system such as the dark sleeper, along with sturgeon, Japanese aucha perch, Japanese lates, tropical freshwater fish from Brazil and Africa, amphibians, and tetsugyo goldfish.
