Tangouocchikan丹後魚っ知館(宮津エネルギー研究所水族館)

A former public relations facility run by Kansai Electric Power, "Tango Uocchikan" (1001 Odashukuno, Miyazu, Kyoto). It opened in August 1989 as the PR facility of the Miyazu Energy Research Institute, exhibiting creatures of the Tango coast and promoting knowledge about energy. It closed on May 30, 2023, in step with the decommissioning of the institute's Units 1 and 2, having received a cumulative total of about 6.02 million visitors (as of the end of March 2023).
