Shanghai Zoo上海动物园

Shanghai Zoo, on Hongqiao Road in Shanghai's Changning District, opened in 1954 as Xijiao Park and was renamed Shanghai Zoological Park in 1980. It exhibits more than 6,000 animals representing 600 species, including giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys and South China tigers alongside international species such as chimpanzees and giraffes. Its Swan Lake is a signature feature, and the zoo has welcomed over 150 million visitors since it was established.
