Kumakumaenくまくま園(阿仁熊牧場)

Opened in 1990 as the Ani Bear Farm and reopened in 2014 after renovation as "Kumakuma-en." It keeps Asian black bears and brown bears and is a rare zoo in Japan where you can observe bears up close. During the open season it offers family-friendly hands-on programs such as events where you can interact with bear cubs.
