Misaki Kouenみさき公園

A former general amusement park in Tannowa, Misaki, Sennan District, Osaka, operated by Nankai Electric Railway. It opened on April 1, 1957, as a project marking the 70th anniversary of Nankai's founding, and was loved by families along the line for its zoo and dolphin shows. It added the large leisure pool "Pool Land RiO" in 1987, the new dolphin hall "Shiny Stadium" in 2009, and the railway experience facility "Wakuwaku Densha Land" in 2014, but visitor numbers kept falling and long-term operating losses continued, and Nankai withdrew from the business on March 31, 2020. The facility was transferred free of charge to the town of Misaki in April of that year and has been partially open as a town park since July 1, 2021.
