Hekinankaihin Suizokukan碧南海浜水族館

A City of Hekinan aquarium exhibiting about 300 species, mainly fish from Japan's coastal waters. It also works to protect and exhibit endangered rare Japanese freshwater fish, and its biotope lets visitors experience nearby nature. A play-and-learn plaza for children, "Guruncha," is scheduled to open on the second floor in March 2026.

Annual pass: adults ¥1,300, children ¥500. Hekinan residents aged 65 and over are free every September. Source
