Records
A male born April 22, 2013. Hailed as Sunshine Aquarium's 'undisputed ace,' he is nicknamed the 'little giant' for his bold, unflappable personality. His specialties are looking straight into the camera and striking a begging pose.
He ran in the second 'Otter Election' held in 2018. In the first election he took second place with 23,769 votes, and he finished second again in the second. His campaign pledge at the time was that visitors would be able to take a two-shot photo with him.
At handshake events with visitors, he earned a reputation for his attentive manner, making eye contact with each person one at a time through the small window. His name carries the hope that, small as he is, he would grow into a strong otter with the 'Yamato spirit.'
Born at Sunshine Aquarium, he has long been the face of its Asian small-clawed otter exhibit and a favorite among visitors.
