Lotte World Aquarium opened in October 2014 in the basement of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Seoul. It displays over 55,000 marine animals from 650 species, from freshwater fish to beluga whales, in tanks totaling about 5,200,000 litres, and features an 85-metre tunnel tank, described as the longest aquarium tunnel in South Korea. Its beluga whale Bella is a signature animal.
