Born July 6, 2017, at Kobe's Oji Zoo, she later moved to Kagoshima's Hirakawa Zoo. She is listed as a resident on the zoo's official animal encyclopedia page. On June 22 and July 6, 2025, joint birthday parties with Subaru were held, featuring a keeper's talk about red pandas and a special cake of bamboo and apples to celebrate her 8th birthday. The zoo's official animal encyclopedia page lists her birth date as July 6, 2017, and notes that she was born at Kobe's Oji Zoo. The joint birthday parties ran for about 15 minutes from 2:00 p.m. on both days.
After Subaru died of liver failure on September 17, 2025, the zoo's official announcement noted that she became the only red panda kept at Hirakawa Zoo. A celebration was also held on July 6, her actual birthday.
