A male born June 27, 2022, at Sabae's Nishiyama Zoo. He moved to Tama Zoological Park on June 3, 2024, where he was kept off display for quarantine, then left Tama on July 29 that year and arrived at Batu Secret Zoo in Indonesia on July 31. As an example of a Nishiyama-born animal going to an overseas zoo, his schedule from departure to arrival is recorded in a Tokyo Zoo Net article.
Tokyo Zoo Net's news noted that he was set to go on display as the first red panda ever at Batu Secret Zoo. The original plan was for him to travel together with Tama-born Fujimaru, but because Fujimaru was being treated for an injury, Kaito went ahead to Indonesia on his own.
