Records

Born July 27, 2022, at Tama Zoological Park as one of twin males to mother Himawari, he went on display in the glass-enclosed room with his brother Fujimaru and their mother, as a family of three, from November 10 that year. From February 2, 2023, the family moved to the outdoor exhibit. The article announcing the start of the display was published on November 9, 2022, and updated in February 2023 when the display moved outdoors.

His twin brother Fujimaru moved to Batu Secret Zoo in Indonesia on September 30, 2024, and Tokyo Zoo Net's news covered the two brothers' history before the move. No official announcement about Ranmaru's own whereabouts since then had been found as of the time this data was checked, so his status is treated as unknown. The article reported that both were male.
