The Kanto region's largest comprehensive marine museum, keeping 580 species and 68,000 animals in 60 tanks of various sizes. It puts special emphasis on sharks, with a dedicated page, and is known for the sardine school exhibit "IWASHI LIFE" and the permanent jellyfish exhibit "Kurage 365."

Parking: about 750 spaces on the main building side (opens 8:00, free) and about 1,000 in the prefectural lot (24 hours, free except during summer vacation). Source
