HIMEJI CITY AQUARIUM姫路市立水族館

A municipal aquarium run by the City of Himeji. It exhibits penguins, sea turtles (hawksbill and green turtles), African spurred tortoises, purple tube anemones, and more, and has succeeded in the natural breeding of the Oshima loach.

Hours: Regular 09:00–17:00（exceptions apply）
Access: A 10-minute walk from Tegara Station on the Sanyo Electric Railway, or a 15-minute walk from JR Tegarayama-Heiwakoen Station.
