Kasaoka Horseshoe Crab Museum笠岡市立カブトガニ博物館

Facing the Konoshima Channel, which overlooks a nationally designated Natural Monument horseshoe crab breeding ground, this is the only museum in the world devoted to horseshoe crabs. The building itself is designed to look like a horseshoe crab. It also has one of the few full-scale dinosaur parks in Japan, displaying 8 life-size dinosaurs of 7 species produced under academic supervision.
