IKEDA ZOO池田動物園

A privately run zoo long loved in Okayama City. It keeps a wide range of animals including chimpanzees, red pandas, giraffes, zebras, and tapirs, and has its own support and participation programs such as the "Santaro-kun Supporter" program and a zoo volunteer program.

From the West Exit of JR Okayama Station, take an Okaden Bus bound for Chuo Byoin (Central Hospital) to the Kyoyama Iriguchi stop, then walk about 12 minutes.
