Kushimoto Marine Park串本海中公園

Japan's first marine park, located at Cape Shionomisaki, the southernmost point of Honshu. Its ecosystem of coral, tropical fish, and sea turtles is shaped by the Kuroshio Current, and the area is a Ramsar Convention site. The park consists of three facilities: an underwater sightseeing boat, an undersea observation tower, and an aquarium. It was the first in the world to breed loggerhead turtles to the second and third generations.
