A male born August 12, 2014. Easygoing and relaxed, he carries straw with his mouth and paws to build a bed to his own liking. He is introduced as an otter who loves mealtime.
The one with the darker coat is Mitsuba and the lighter one is Taiyo; they can also be told apart by the color of their noses and the shape of their heads. At Aqua Park Shinagawa he is kept as a pair with his partner, Mitsuba.
At the special commentary event 'Wild Live Viewing: Otter Festival,' held October 10 to November 9, 2025, his curious side was showcased as he grabbed leaves with his dexterous paws and rolled pine cones around.
