Oouchiyama Doubutsuen大内山動物園

A private zoo in Taiki, Watarai District, Mie Prefecture. It began with animals the former director kept at his home, and after a financial crisis threatened to close it, it was rebuilt with the support of volunteers. A distinctive feature is that you can feed 19 species of animals, including hamadryas baboons, spider monkeys, miniature horses, and ostriches.
