Records
Born on the night of July 20, 2020, at Tama Zoological Park as one of twin females to mother Himawari and father Franken. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's press release noted that Himawari, though a first-time mother, was raising her cubs calmly and that mother and cubs were doing well. The names were announced as the sisters 'Rian' and 'Fran.' The announcement specified that both were female and were born on the night of July 20.
Her twin sister Rian moved to Seoul Grand Park in South Korea in November 2023 as part of Japan-Korea breeding cooperation. No official announcement about Fran's own whereabouts since then had been found as of the time this data was checked, so her status is treated as unknown. The transfer of Rian and Sei to South Korea was announced in a Tokyo Metropolitan Government press release dated November 1, 2023. The names were announced in an article update in August of that year.
