Schlegel's green tree frog, also known as the Japanese gliding frog, is a small treefrog endemic to Japan, found across Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and the Ryukyu Islands. It grows to 32-53 mm in body length and preys on insects and other small arthropods, breeding in underground foam nests near water. Classified as Least Concern by the IUCN, it remains common throughout its range.
