Records
A female finless porpoise born April 17, 1985, in the old building of Toba Aquarium. She was popular for coming up to the glass to charm visitors and for poking her face out of the water at feeding time to beg for food. Her name often led people to mistake her for a male, but she was a long-lived porpoise who kept extending the Japanese record for finless porpoise longevity in captivity. She died on March 7, 2024, at the advanced age of over 38.
