A small zoo inside Osaki Park focused on small and medium-sized animals. It keeps about 40 species and offers a place to experience surprise and wonder through hands-on contact with animals.

From the East Exit of JR Urawa Station, take a Kokusai Kogyo bus to the Urawa Tokubetsu Shien Gakko stop, then walk about 10 minutes (about 20 minutes total). From the North Exit of JR Higashi-Kawaguchi Station, a bus to the same stop takes about 10 minutes. Source

HoursOpen 10:00–16:00. Closed every Monday (the following day if Monday is a national holiday or Saitama Citizens' Day) and over the New Year holidays (December 29–January 1). The Dobutsu Hiroba petting area is closed every Friday and canceled in bad weather. Source

You can interact with goats and guinea pigs at the Dobutsu Hiroba. Its hours vary by season and day of the week, and it is closed every Friday and on zoo closing days. Source
