Cougarピューマ

Puma concolorLC— Least Concern

The cougar, also known as the puma or mountain lion, has the widest range of any wild land animal in the Americas, spanning from Canada's British Columbia to the southern Andes of Chile. It preys mainly on deer and other ungulates, hunting alone and largely avoiding humans — fatal attacks have been extremely rare historically. Despite its size, it purrs rather than roars, and the IUCN classifies it as Least Concern.
