KOBE ANIMAL KINGDOM神戸どうぶつ王国

A zoo built around the concept of experiencing animals as they are in the wild. Across two areas, the Inside Park and Outside Park, it keeps a wide range of animals including capybaras, penguins, owls, and camels, and holds regular events such as free-flight bird performances and dog sports.

Right by Keisan Kagaku Center Station (Kobe Animal Kingdom / Fugaku-mae) on the Port Liner. About 14 minutes by Port Liner from Sannomiya Station (JR, Hankyu, Hanshin). From Shin-Kobe Station, take the subway to Sannomiya Station (about 2 minutes), then the Port Liner for about 14 minutes. About 4 minutes by Port Liner from Kobe Airport. Source

Space for 880 standard cars and 13 large buses. Standard cars pay ¥700 on weekdays and ¥1,000 on weekends and holidays. Source
