Access

From JR Miyajimaguchi Station, walk about 5 minutes to the Miyajimaguchi Pier. From there, take the JR West Miyajima Ferry or Miyajima Matsudai Kisen (about 10 minutes each) to Miyajima Pier. From Miyajima Pier, it is about 25 minutes on foot to the aquarium, or about 10 minutes by the Miyajima Maple Liner shared bus or an island taxi. About 5 minutes on foot from the exit of Itsukushima Shrine. Source
