London ZooLondon Zoo

London Zoo, founded in 1826 and opened at Regent's Park in 1828, is the world's oldest scientific zoo. Operated by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), its roughly 36-acre (15-hectare) grounds hold more than 8,000 animals across around 370 species. It is also renowned for its historic architecture, including the 1930s Penguin Pool and the circular Round House gorilla enclosure.
