Marwell Zoo is a 140-acre (57 ha) zoo at Colden Common near Winchester, Hampshire, England, founded in 1972 by Dr John Knowles and run by the registered charity Marwell Wildlife. Home to more than 145 species, it is internationally recognised for breeding endangered animals, having helped reintroduce species such as the scimitar-horned oryx and Przewalski's horse.
