Records
Born November 25, 2014, at Tennoji Zoo to father Gogo and mother Baffin. Her mother Baffin gave birth at age 22, and the birth was reported as a successful case of polar bear breeding at Tennoji Zoo. On June 13, 2016, she moved to Hamamatsu Zoo with her mother Baffin.
On March 28, 2024, she moved to Oga Aquarium GAO for breeding and was paired with the male Gota. The Akita Sakigake Shimpo reported that the 'popular star of Hamamatsu Zoo' had come to Akita, and congratulations came from her home region of Shizuoka as well.
On December 4, 2025, she gave birth to a cub (later named 'Momota') sired by Gota. Known as a big eater, she began asking for food as early as 31 days after giving birth. Her father Gogo died at Zoorasia in February 2026, making Momo one of the last generation carrying his bloodline.
