From Yakuin-Odori Station (Zoo & Botanical Garden exit) on the Nanakuma Subway Line, 15 minutes on foot or 6 minutes by bus (Routes 56 and 58). Bus Route 58 is also available from Yakuin Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin-Omuta Line. About 20 minutes by bus Route 58 from Hakata or Tenjin. Nearest bus stops: Dobutsuen-mae and Jonan Koko-mae. AdmissionAdults ¥600; high school students ¥300; junior high students and younger free. Groups (30 or more): adults ¥480, high school students ¥240. Free for holders of a disability certificate plus one caregiver, residents of designated cities aged 65 and over, and recipients of medical assistance. Source
