From Kagoshima-Chuo Station, take the tram (Route 2) to the Suizokukan-guchi stop and walk 8 minutes. You can also take a city bus (Routes 16 and 24, from East stops 5 and 6) to the Kagoshima Suizokukan-mae stop. Source

Hours9:30–18:00 (entry until 17:00). Extended to 21:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during Golden Week, summer vacation, and the Obon period. Closed for four days starting the first Monday of December (open as usual during the New Year period). Source

Discounts for Kagoshima City residents, half price for ages 70 and over, and exemption for holders of a physical disability certificate or similar (see the price list on the official site for details). How much is admission?
