Akiyoshidai Safari Land秋吉台自然動物公園

A safari park in Mine, Yamaguchi Prefecture. In addition to a safari zone you drive through in your own car, this combined facility has an animal petting plaza, a Kids Safari, and an amusement park. A new cat-focused area, "Neko Mura" (Cat Village), opened in March 2024.

How much is admission?
The drive-through course is ¥2,600 for adults (high school students and older), ¥1,600 for children (age 3 and up), and ¥2,300 for seniors (70 and over). The feeding guide is ¥600 per vehicle. Source

Is there parking?
Dedicated parking for about 800 cars and 30 buses. On the drive-through course, you can drive through the safari in your own car straight from the parking lot. Source

How do I get there by car?
From the Yamaguchi-Ube / Ogori Road direction, exit at the Akiyoshi IC and drive about 3 km. The section between the Tsuwano IC and the Akiyoshi IC is toll-free. Source

About 1 hour by bus from Shin-Iwakuni Station, or about 50 minutes by taxi or rental car. Source
