Access

From Obihiro Station, take the Tokachi Bus (Route 70, bound for Ozora Danchi) for about 18 minutes to the Dobutsuen-mae stop, then walk about 300 m; or take the Takushoku Bus for about 16 minutes to the Midorigaoka 6-chome Hakubutsukan Iriguchi stop, then walk about 600 m. By car, about 30 minutes from Obihiro Airport via National Route 236. Parking: 80 spaces at the main gate lot and 150 at the south gate lot (temporary lots are closed in winter). Source

How much is admission?

Adults ¥420; ages 65 and over and high school students ¥210; junior high students and younger free. An annual pass is ¥800 for adults. Source

What are the opening hours and closed days?

In summer, 9:00–16:30 (9:30–16:00 depending on the period); in winter, open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, 11:00–14:00. Closed December 29–January 3. Source
