Montreal BiodomeBiodome de Montreal

An indoor natural-science facility in Montreal's Olympic Park, Quebec, opened in 1992. It reuses the velodrome (cycling stadium) built for the 1976 Montreal Olympics and recreates five ecosystems of the Americas. Home to 4,802 animals across 229 species (excluding invertebrates), it is one of the Western Hemisphere's few large-scale enclosed-ecosystem attractions.
