OcéanopolisOcéanopolis

Océanopolis is a marine science center and aquarium in Brest, on the Brittany coast of northwestern France; its temperate (Brittany) pavilion opened in 1990, and polar and tropical pavilions were added in 2000 to form the current three-pavilion layout. It holds roughly 8,700 m² of exhibition space and 4 million liters of seawater across 77 tanks, home to about 10,000 animals from 1,000 species. Its journey through temperate, polar, and tropical seas is unusual in Europe and ranks among the largest aquariums in France.
