Paris Zoological ParkParc Zoologique de Paris

Paris Zoological Park (Zoo de Vincennes) sits in the Bois de Vincennes in the 12th arrondissement of Paris and is operated by the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN). It first opened in 1934 and reopened in 2014 after a full renovation. The 14.5-hectare park is organised into five biozones—Sahel-Sudan, Europe, Patagonia, Guiana-Amazonia and Madagascar—and is crowned by the Grand Rocher, a 65-metre artificial rock that serves as its landmark. It houses about 3,419 animals across 275 species.
