National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium國立海洋生物博物館

The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, in Checheng Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan, is a major aquarium and marine research institution that opened on 25 February 2000. The park covers 58.8 hectares, of which the museum occupies 35.81 hectares. Its display areas hold about 600 species (some 12,000 individuals), and an 82.5-metre underwater tunnel showcasing its beluga whales is a signature feature. It is one of Taiwan's leading public aquariums.
